Sckribbles' Refund, Returns, and Replacement Policy
At Sckribbles, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Here's what you need to know about our refund, returns, and replacement policy.
Ordering
Please order the exact amount of wallpaper needed for your project. We cannot guarantee that multiple batches will be an exact color match, and we will not replace or refund orders placed to supplement a previous order.
Before Installation
Confirm that you have ordered the correct quantity of wallpaper and that it matches your wall measurements. Inspect all panels for damage, color variation, or irregularities before installation. If you notice any issues, please contact us before proceeding. Installing the wallpaper constitutes acceptance of its quality.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items Sent
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days with a photo of the issue and we'll take care of the rest. We'll arrange a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping.
Refunds
Refunds are returned to your original payment method and processed within 10 business days, though additional processing time may apply. To request a refund, contact us at hello@sckribbles.com or via our contact form. Please note that digital items and gift cards are non-refundable.
Once an order has been sent to print, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, as each wallpaper is custom-made to order. You have a 30-minute window after placing your order to request a cancellation and receive a full refund. After this period, the order is automatically processed and we are unable to make any changes, cancellations, or refunds.
Incorrect Application
Refunds, returns, and replacements are not available for issues resulting from incorrect wallpaper application, including but not limited to:
- Applying wallpaper to freshly painted walls that have not fully dried
- Applying wallpaper to textured walls or surfaces unsuitable for wallpaper application
- Installing wallpaper in a damp or poorly ventilated area
- Excessive force when removing air bubbles or smoothing the wallpaper
Please handle your wallpaper with care during installation. We recommend using the correct applicator with gentle pressure to smooth out bubbles. Any damage caused by improper installation will not be eligible for a refund or return. Please ensure your walls meet the necessary requirements before proceeding.
Samples, Images, and Mockups
Wallpaper images and mockups used on our website and social media are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately represent the true scale, size, or color of the product.
We require customers to order a sample before committing to a full order. Refunds, replacements, or returns will not be provided for orders placed without a prior sample order.
Each wallpaper type absorbs ink differently, so variations in color, texture, and brightness between paper types are normal. We strongly recommend ordering a sample of the exact paper type you plan to purchase. Orders placed for a different wallpaper type than the one sampled will not be eligible for a refund.

Returns

Incorrect Orders Placed by Customer
If a return is requested due to an error made by the customer - for example, purchasing the wrong pattern or paper type - and we agree to a replacement, Sckribbles will not cover the cost of return shipping. We recommend carefully reviewing your order before completing checkout. We're always happy to answer questions in advance to ensure you receive the correct product.
Change of Mind
We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size choices.
Color Differences
Please be aware that due to monitor variation, colors on screen may differ slightly from the final print. We strive for color accuracy in all of our products, and ordering a sample beforehand is the best way to ensure the result meets your expectations.
Color Variation Between Batches
All Sckribbles wallpaper is printed to order. While we maintain strict color management standards, slight variations can occur between print batches. For this reason, we require customers to order the full quantity needed for their project in a single order to ensure a consistent color match.
If additional wallpaper is ordered at a later date, we cannot guarantee an identical match to your previous batch, as natural variation may occur due to ink recalibration, printer maintenance, and environmental factors during production. Sckribbles cannot offer refunds or replacements for color variation between separate orders. If you are unsure how much wallpaper to order, please reach out before purchasing, we're happy to help you calculate the correct quantity for your space.
Installation Responsibility
Before installation, all wallpaper panels should be carefully inspected for correct design, color, and alignment. If you notice any issues - such as color variation, cutting irregularities, or print defects - do not install the wallpaper and contact us immediately.
Once wallpaper has been installed, we are unable to replace or refund panels displaying defects that could reasonably have been identified prior to installation, as installation indicates acceptance of the product's condition. We recommend sharing this notice with your installer before beginning the project.
Good Faith Replacement Policy
If a wallpaper installation failure is determined to have been caused by the customer, and Sckribbles agrees to provide a replacement as a gesture of goodwill, Sckribbles will not be responsible for any further installation issues arising from that replacement. This replacement is offered in good faith and does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.
