With the recent changes to U.S. import regulations, customs clearance times have become less predictable. While most orders still arrive within the usual timeframe, some may experience additional delays once they reach the United States.

Production Time: Given the bespoke nature of our handcrafted products, printing times vary between 5 - 6 business days (sometimes a bit longer for larger or bulk orders).

Shipping Time: Standard free shipping typically takes 10 business days, while express shipping options deliver within 2 - 5 business days.

Sckribbles Wallpaper Installation Guide

 

Before Installation

Confirm that you have ordered the correct quantity of wallpaper and that it matches your wall measurements. Inspect all panels for damage, color variation, or irregularities. If you notice any issues, please contact us before installation. Installing the wallpaper constitutes acceptance of its quality.

Wall Preparation

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and free of dust. Remove all existing wallpaper. Sand and repair any imperfections, then prime the entire surface with a high-quality wallpaper primer. Allow the wall to dry fully before installation.

Do not install wallpaper on unsealed drywall, heavily textured surfaces, flaking or cracked paint, or areas affected by mold or mildew.

Vertical Guide

Use a level, laser level, or plumb line to mark a true vertical line for the first panel.

Adhesive Application

Apply a high-quality wallpaper adhesive evenly to the wall, ensuring full coverage.

Do not leave dry patches, apply excessive adhesive, or allow the paste to dry before hanging. Do not use unsuitable glues or apply adhesive to dusty or unprimed surfaces.

Hanging the Wallpaper

Position each panel carefully along the vertical guide. Smooth gently to remove air pockets.

Install panels edge to edge (butt to butt) without overlap. Do not stretch the wallpaper during application.

Finishing

Trim excess material along the ceiling and skirting using a ruler and a sharp blade. Step back and enjoy your newly dressed space.

Installeer geen behang op ongegronde gipsplaten, sterk getextureerde oppervlakken, afbladderende of gebarsten verf, of op plekken met schimmel of vochtproblemen.

Verticale Hulplijn

Gebruik een waterpas, laserwaterpas of schietlood om een zuivere verticale lijn te markeren voor de eerste baan.

Aanbrengen van Lijm

Breng hoogwaardige behanglijm gelijkmatig op de muur aan en zorg voor volledige dekking.

Laat geen droge plekken achter, breng niet te veel lijm aan en laat de lijm niet drogen voordat het behang wordt aangebracht. Gebruik geen ongeschikte lijm en breng geen lijm aan op stoffige of niet-gegronde oppervlakken.

Aanbrengen van het Behang

Assurez-vous que le mur est propre, sec, lisse et exempt de poussière. Retirez tout ancien papier peint. Poncez et réparez les imperfections. Appliquez une sous-couche de haute qualité sur l’ensemble du mur et laissez sécher complètement.

N’installez pas le papier peint sur du placoplâtre non apprêté, des surfaces fortement texturées, de la peinture écaillée ou fissurée, ni sur des zones présentant de la moisissure ou de l’humidité.

Guide Vertical

Utilisez un niveau, un niveau laser ou un fil à plomb pour tracer une ligne verticale droite pour le premier panneau.

Application de l’Adhésif

Appliquez uniformément un adhésif de haute qualité sur le mur et assurez une couverture complète.
